EQUESTRIANISTA - Equestrian Fashion and Style Trends

Equestrian Style and Fashion for Fall 2024

What are the new fashion trends for fall 2024? The bigger question - What are the new fashion trends for fall that work back to our equestrian lifestyle? Specifically, how will these trends and pieces work into our street to stable wardrobe. Historically, fall fashion often directs what we see continue through winter, spring and on into summer fashion. If what the fashion insiders have predicted for fall 2024 are true, I am here for it! Three of the key looks for 2024 will be dark romance, bold glamour and English prep. Not only do these 3 styles seem possible for the everyday woman, but what says equestrian more than english plaids, jewel tones, leather, animal print and lace. I mean seriously...tell me you aren't excited? Let's break it down by trend and how you can work it into your closet. Dark Romance: Think jewel tones, dark florals, black lace and velvet. Dark, large floral prints give a seasonal twist on a traditionally spring feeling print. From floral print blouses, to a piece from our Chantilly Lace Horse Collection, you can style your quality basic pieces to encompass the dark romance aesthetic.  We love the dark floral blouse from Ralph Lauren paired perfectly with a pair of dark denim and tied together with a contrasting light brown belt. We can see this blouse beautifully paired with a pair of black breeches and brown field boots. One of our top sellers, the Chantilly Lace Horse T-Shirt, fits into this fall 2024 trend perfectly. Whether dressed up for the office to give a nod to your equestrian lifestyle, or which a great pair of riding pants for the barn, you can't go wrong.    Bold Glamour: Loving this fun 5th Avenue meets Thrift Store find. Bold glamour gives me flashbacks to my days when leopard print was a neutral. Enjoy various animal prints, faux fur, leather and statement jewelry. Grab that metallic handbag and stack your statement jewelry. You can expect this trend to grow as we get closer to holdiay dressing. English Prep: English prep is quintessential classic equestrian. This trend is everything preppy and prep aesthetic. You have your timeless plaids, cable knits and houndstooth. Imagine classic warm toned accessories like leather gloves, tartan plaid scarf and dark colored loafters.  We love the modern twist on traditional tartan plaid from Akris Punto. This splurge is a definite statement maker for fall. Our newest arrival, the Fox Hunt Midi, emcompasses everything that is classic prep of this trend. Whether dressed up for the office, or paired with your authentic riding boots for a day of shopping and lunch with girlfriends, this is the head turning look for fall!... [Read more]

Why Wear a Sun Shirt? What's the hype?

Take a stroll through the walking paths or barn aisles of a horse show facility and you will no doubt see a plethora of colors and patterns in about every major equestrian brand that makes a sunshirt. What's a sunshirt you ask? Well it can vary just a bit from brand to brand, but for the most part it is an equestrian's skins best friend. Brands like Kerrits, Horze, Ariat, Kastel, Noel Asmar, and Spooks create these long sleeve, often UPF infused, performance tops for dressage riders, hunter jumpers, and even the western rider. Horseback riding sun blocking base layers can be crafted from different weights and weaves of performance fabric that have been designed to wick moisture and create a cooling effect. These tops  help you stay cool while riding, and many of these crew neck to quarter zips help block harmful UV rays while you sit a top your horse or long days doing chores around the barn.  Besides having this UPF protection, brands have stepped up their style-game and have started to offer fun patterns and colors outside of the traditional navy or beige we've seen in the past.  Not to be outdone, EQUESTRIANISTA Brand has an all new line of some of the most elegant sunshirt base layers available this Spring/Summer 2024. From the traditional fox hunter to the modern take on the snaffle bit - we have an option for every discerning equestrian fashionista shopping online for the perfect sun shirt base layer! Which is your favorite? xoxo Julie... [Read more]

Was your last text to a horse friend or something horse related?

Raise your hand if your last text was to a horse friend or was about something horse related. Raise it twice if you know the answer to this without even checking your text messages or snap! Every horse girl has done it. Talked endlessly about her horse, the horse she wants to buy, the horse she had as a child, the barn she boards at, the barn she dreams of...do I need to continue? Some like to call being an equestrian a sport, some call it a hobby and some (mainly boyfriends or husbands) call it an obsession. I like to call my love of horseback riding my hobby-sport. My love for the equestrian inspired apparel...well that may be an obsession. Thankfully I have plenty of friends that share in all of the above. xoxo Julie the OG of being an EQUESTRIANISTA... Fashion Trend Alert

In the 15th Century lace represented your status in society. Throughout history lace has stood the test of time as a staple in women's fashion; from the dreamy wedding dress, to the elegant evening attire, to the sexy blouse, to the sweet and flirty wrap dress. Lace is a timeless classic that is having a front-and-center moment on the runway for 2023. Lace was the inspiration for one of our most beautiful designs to date. This elegant, yet functional long sleeve looks street chic mixed with the unexpected like a denim jacket. For a dressier day at the office look it looks perfect paired with a pair of black ponte pants and topped with a black pashmmina (as pictured). The silhouette on this Lace Print Riding Top lets the rich fabrication and silky slip feel take center stage. It moves with your body and stays contoured to your body all day long. To buy it is to love it! xoxo Julie... [Read more]

What is betrayal?

What's betrayal? When you walk into the pasture to catch your horse and it runs the other direction. As a kid I had the most trustworthy, same horse ridden daily or monthly. Just that once in a lifetime heart-horse. He was a retired cutting horse that had paid his dues and put in his time. Thankfully the cowboy who retired him wanted what was best for him and sought out a retirement home. My dad recently purchased our farm, and while we had horses in the past, we currently didn't have any. This gentleman paid my dad a small pasture board fee.  Well, as tends to be the equestrian way, we ended up finding a way to take the situation that was making us money (albeit small, but in the black) and turn it into a situation that cost us money. I fell in love with this sweet, oldie with only one working eye and my dad decided to buy him and his pasturemate.  This quarter horse gelding took me all over our small farm and half the county on the weekends. I could ride him on the road, in the rain, far too past sunset and everywhere in between. The only fault this incredible horse had...when I walked into the pasture to catch him...he ran the other direction. So, the moral of the story is - we can't all be perfect. xoxo Julie... Time to Refocus

As we look at life and what we will do over the next 6 to 8 weeks, let's refocus. Sometimes life, God, sends us something that at the time seems to be too much to handle, but in actuality it is just what we need. Time to refocus. Life is fast, sometimes hard, stressful, but full of so many blessings and beauty. Let us look at those and refocus. We now have the gift of time. Time to spend with the ones you love, or to not rush off the phone. We can sit around the dinner table and talk...TALK. Or find a quiet spot in the house and make a phone call without feeling the need to quickly get off and run off to the next thing. Maybe you are blessed to say you do all these things often. Maybe you need time to refocus on you. Enjoy the silence. Enjoy the calm. Enjoy you. Whatever it may be that is your refocus, let us come together as this pandemic continues and realize we are in this together. No matter your age, sex, income - no one is immune to the fear the coronavirus may bring. Financially, emotionally, or physically, we are all concerned about what it will bring.  We are so strong as humans, as equestrians, we will get through this and be much stronger on the other side. Let's Pray. Let's Be. Let's Refocus.  xoxo Julie, Sophia & Whitney... [Read more]

Equestrians and the Coronavirus

Keep Calm and Wash Your Hands Hoping all you Equestrianistas are staying calm and healthy! We are in unprecedented times. But we're equestrians; we are tough and resilient! Right, ladies! We are all seeing life as we know it turned upside down due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are right there with you and too are worried about how best to protect those we love, both two-legged and four-legged. We are all in this together. In times like these, as Americans and Equestrians, we often see the very best of those around us come out. I've heard stories of strangers helping strangers get the groceries, cleaning supplies, animal feed, and so on, that they so desperately need. That's what it is all about! So while you are assuring that you, and those around you, are staying healthy and safe - remember to take time out to reflect on your blessings, kiss your horse, and fit in a ride if possible. Most important, we want to let you know you are not alone. We are working hard to remain available for your retail therapy and we'll continue to keep our studio and shipping space safe with increased cleaning and sanitization. We are honored to be a part of your equestrian life, providing you with equestrian fashion apparel and makes you feel and look your best. We are here and hope to see you thriving on social media, in the barn, and at local horse shows very soon. xoxo Julie, Sophia & Whitney... [Read more]

EQUESTRIANISTA Upcoming New Arrivals: the inspiration

Fall/Winter 2019-2020 is set to be a season of femme rebelle. In street style you see designers paying homage to the not-so-discreet lavishness of textures, deep hues and masculine edge. While pairing these in contrast to the female punk spirit. The EQUESTRIANISTA Brand is right in line with this feel and loves laughing in the face of convention, while celebrating the equestrian woman of today, rather than sticking with the old standard of yesterday.  When working on our latest additions to the EQUESTRIANISTA apparel line we made it all about making pieces that speak louder than words. Equestrian fashionistas everywhere know that equestrian inspired fashion is more than just a trend – it’s prominence in fashion is nothing new. Equestrian fashion is far more than just barn or riding wear - its versatility, with a classic yet chic look always calls for attention.  Drawing on inspiration: When I was putting this design idea to paper I reflected, “What do I want?" Without question I wanted to speak without words, to represent the rebellious, strong nature of an equestrian, yet still represent her feminine, fashion-loving personality. Behind the seams: Rather than constantly posting on social media, painting ourselves as fashion genius', we enjoy working behind the scenes. Creating in-house designs, scouting fabulous pieces to complement the line - quietly sketching and curating pieces that will delight our core customer from the moment she steps into the mobile boutique or opens her mailbox - that's what drives us. Enter a silhouette that states loud and clear that its wearer is rebellious and inspired, carving her path with studs, boxy, androgynous designs and all of the style-tricks of punk, grunge and bondage, for a cool, detached style revival that defies tired convention.... Equestrian Leopard Print Tee from Equestrianista Brand Apparel

Great news! The love for leopard print in fashion is not going anywhere, anytime soon! From the runways of Paris to the pages of Vogue - leopard print is alive (well, ok not alive) and well...very well! Vogue was quoted as saying “When all else fails, go with an animal print”. We say, no matter what the day will bring, go with animal print - leopard in particular.  Why leopard? Because it never really slinks out of fashion. Why? Because it's a statement maker whether you're pairing it with distressed denim for a casual day of errands, or to up the ante of those faux leather leggings you'll rock on the town tonight.  If you flip the pages of any current style magazines you would swear every girl from New York to LA owns a leopard-print slip dress or top. Short sleeve tees are our favorite here at EQUESTRIANISTA because you can wear it all year. Spring and summer a leopard print t-shirt elevates your #ROOTD and allows you to go from street to stable in one chic snap. Once the temperatures drop, you can layer it with your favorite leather motto or denim jacket to the office or under a comfy fleece schooling full zip at the barn. The street style 2019 scene is full of women experimenting with how they pair their favorite leopard print piece. We say "it's ALL good" because how you style it is half the fun! #thearenaisyourrunway  Be spotted in our new Signature Short Sleeve and unleash your wild side! xoxo Julie, Sophia & Whitney... Is your horse at risk for an ulcer?

Evolution did not intend for horses to live like we keep them today. Their bodies evolved to slowly walk and graze for the majority of their day with a dose of snoozing and/or running from predators (or the shadow that looked like a predator :). Here are a few modern day stressors that could leave you dealing with an ulcer: Limited grazing due to a small paddock and/or stall time. Thus, large twice daily feedings. Excessive grain consumption due to trying to make up for the lack of vitamins and minerals lacking in dry forage, rather than fresh pasture. Regular riding or training sessions. This is especially stressing on an empty stomach. Change in the mixture of the forage fed. Lack of movement due to stall confinement. Stress to the immune system due to trailering. Pecking order change due to herd additions or deletions. One, or all, of these ulcer risks are present for every horse today. Small changes to these risks can be beneficial to your equine. For instance, periodic feedings throughout the day, supplements to less grain consumption to meet the needs of vitamins and minerals, giving your horse forage prior to riding or training sessions, more frequent time outside for stalled horses, and ulcer prevention supplements prior to trailering. Obviously, if you can not alter the amount of time they spend out in a large field to roam, ride less (why else would we own them), or ensure their herd mates stay the same until the day they die, then you will need to work with your vet to discuss options to orally provide support to your horse.  We hope this blog post has given you some ideas for ways you can personally support your horse to lessen his risk for ulcers.... Review of my Rambo Micklem Bridle

It seems like every time I post a picture of my thoroughbred gelding wearing his Micklem bridle I get questions about how it fits, and how my horse likes its anatomically contoured design. I did a lot of research when looking to purchase a new dressage bridle for my OTTB who had a heavy mouth, combined with my heavy hands, and a sensitive personality in general.  When I purchased the Rambo Micklem bridle 7 years ago they were relatively alien looking to many equestrians, me included. I thought they looked unappealing, but was willing to set aside my vain side for my horse's comfort.  Calvin was immediately receptive to the bridle. I personally thought he felt lighter. Whether it was somehow making me lighter in my hands, thus making him lighter, or it actually made him lighter in the mouth, regardless it felt good and we were both very happy.  I thought it was fairly affordable given the research that appeared to go into the anatomically contoured craftsmanship of this bridle. The leather was adequately supple and has held up amazingly well.    It now comes in a beautiful tanned leather option of a dark brown and black, as well as a browband with the traditional hunter stitching. I don't even ride in the hunter or equitation ring and am pining for one of these for my big red gelding.... [Read more]

Living Coral: Pantone's Color of the Year for 2019

Equestrian or not, as women fashion plays an important role in our lives. Many of us love flipping through the pages of style mags to see what celebs and influencers are wearing. And as equestrians we spend equal time scrolling through the latest #ROOTD on Instagram. Our lives may not revolve around what colors Pantone (company who's system for matching colors is used in specifying printing inks) is predicting to be the hottest of the year, but it does affect us from fashion trends, home decor trends, and even hair color trends. Yes, the color of 2019 is already a thing in hair color! Well, it's here! According to Pantone 2019's color of the year will be Living Coral! As we've come to expect from Pantone, their choice for 2019 is bold and statement making. Pantone describes Living Coral as: An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge, Living Coral marries the best of two worlds – pastels and neons. At EQUESTRIANISTA, we would describe Living Coral as a hue somewhere between orange and pink, charming and modern, soft and loud, sweet and sophisticated. This color is truly a modern mix and allows for a range of applications and interpretations. A range of coral offerings can be found in equestrian fashion at the moment. From Spooks Equestrian to Ariat, riding tops to breeches, saddle pad to polo wraps, you can find the perfect shade of coral to keep your equestrian style game strong! EQUESTRIANISTA loves glam leisure and sport luxe in equestrian fashion more than anyone. So don't worry we are working on style and swagger that will have us, and you, crushing the competition this year! xoxo Julie, Sophia & Whitney... [Read more]

Joint Health and Joint Supplement Ingredients Defined

With 60% of lameness issues in horses due to joint deterioration and no cure for for it - equine joint problems hit every equestrian at least once in the lifetime of owning horses. How you deal with is as varying as the issues that come up themselves.  Because once joint deterioration starts, it will only continue to get worse. Depending on the horses age or workload, you may choose to retire, supplement, medicate or all three. Keeping your horse moving freely and comfortably is the outcome of all riders who want the best for their horse.   Recently our older, semi-retired mare began showing signs of age and wear-and-tear related joint lameness. After an examination from our vet, he suggested starting her on a regiment with a mixture of hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine, and MSM to help her stay comfortable for light riding.  These terms can be mystifying and overwhelming at first. So here is a quick, simple definition from WebMD of each one: hyaluronic acid: is a substance that is naturally present in the body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. The hyaluronic acid that is used as medicine is extracted from rooster combs or made by bacteria in the laboratory. chondroitin sulfate: is a chemical that is normally found in cartilage around joints in the body. Chondroitin sulfate is usually manufactured from animal sources, such as shark and cow cartilage. glucosamine: a sulfate that is a naturally occurring chemical found in the body. It is in the fluid that is around joints. Glucosamine is also found in other places in nature. For example, the glucosamine sulfate that is put into dietary supplements is often harvested from the shells of shellfish. Glucosamine sulfate used in supplements can also be made in a laboratory. MSM: Methylsulfonylmethane (or MSM) is a chemical found in green plants, animals, and humans. It can also be made in a laboratory. Research shows that taking MSM alone or together with glucosamine, can slightly reduce pain and swelling and improve function in people and animals with osteoarthritis. Taking  MSM with other joint supplements might reduce the need for anti-inflammatory drugs and reduce pain. You will find a plethora of joint supplements out there. My vet suggested Cosequin ASU or Leg Up for cost effectiveness.  Have you tried something? Share with us below what has worked for you. xoxo Julie, Sophia & Whitney... [Read more]

The Definition of an Equestrian

The Definition of an Equestrian. If you google equestrian you will find a few search responses. One is Wikipedia, who defines it as; "The word equestrian is a reference to horseback riding, derived from Latin equester and equus, "horse"." Another is from Webster, who defines us as "one who rides on horseback." At Equestrianista we know there is much more to being an equestrian than eithe r of these two definitions. Actual, day-in-and-day-out, true equestrians - define ourselves as athletes with an unmatched work ethic, bravery and love for our partner(s) in this sport. Whether we compete in the hunter jumper ring, dressage arena, western show ring or are a campaigner on the trail - we encompass dedication and a true passion. Equestrian is the broad word to define us, but up and coming term equestrianista narrows that even more. Equestrianista is quickly becoming synonymous with those equestrian's that define themselves as equestrian fashionistas. With this term seeing a rise in the equestrian world - from equestrian apparel sported in the schooling ring, horse show, to the social media hashtag #equestrianista seeing exponential growth - equestrianista will undoubtedly share space in both Wikipedia and Webster in the near future. Here at the Equestrianista Clothing Brand we define Equestrianista  as:  Equestrianista | noun | eques-tri-an-is-ta | \i-ˈkwes-trē-ən-ˈnēs-tə\ : one with a love for equestrian-inspired style. How do you define being an equestrianista? Equestrianista® is an equestrian lifestyle clothing brand created for the equestrian fashionista.... [Read more]

Equestrian Trends: Rust Colored Breeches meet their Match

The rust trend in equestrian apparel is going strong and we’re not mad about it. The burnt orange, or rust, equestrian style was so much a part of the equestrian ensemble a few decades back that it’s hard to believe it ever went out of equestrian fashion. Well it’s back and proving that it never truly left an equestrienne's favorite Riding Outfit of the Day pick. The Equestrianista latest take on this classic equestrian staple, obviously, has been refreshed with a metallic logo patch perfectly placed on an iconic silhouette. Not only is this Vintage Riding Sweater flattering to pair with breeches for schooling, to your favorite plaid pencil skirt for that street to stable look; it’s also scrumptiously soft.... The Equestrianista Kentucky Derby Hat

This Equestrianista is heading to “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports”, one of the greatest people-watching events in the world!  My hubby surprised me with tickets to the 2018 Kentucky Derby!  We are kicking off our long weekend with one of the historical farm tours in Lexington and then heading back to Louisville for the Derby festivities. Undeniably, one of the best parts of the Kentucky Derby, next to the actual Kentucky Derby, is the spectacle of spring fashions. But not just any spring fashions, the hats that complete the ensemble to be exact. Both men and women pull out all of the stops when dressing for the Kentucky Derby, but lets face it, it’s the women that steal this horse show. It seems the only rule when it comes to Derby dressing, is the showier the better! Whether you are in the grandstand, clubhouse or infield, the ladies are all on equal ground when it comes to flashing their star-studded look. The Kentucky Derby is that once in a lifetime event where every woman gets to express her inner Belle of the Ball!  My DIY Hat: the Equestrianista derby hat had to be one-of-a-kind of course! My recipe was simple, one part Equestrianista elegance, one part Southern Belle.  I heard that wearing a hat to the Kentucky Derby is believed to be a good luck charm. So with that in mind I chose my embellishments accordingly. I found the perfect wide-brimmed hat with metallic gold threads woven throughout to be the elegant base for my style inspiration. To add charm I chose a blush colored ribbon that matched perfectly with my blush tone dress. After placing the ribbon around the base, I quickly realized this Southern Belle creation needed a little more Hollywood, thus I added the rhinestone band. Finally it was ready for the main attraction - the flower. Not just any flower would do. I chose a rose as a nod to the infamous "Run for the Roses" moniker.     When selecting my dress for the Derby I decided to keep it simple, and let the hat be the belle of the ball. I also decided to keep it chic with a monochromatic tone. Keeping it far from the plethora of color, floral and vast patterns that will undoubtedly put me in the minority. My only exception was allowing my earrings be a statement piece as well. Again, monochromatic, but with a rose gold bling that with not get overshadowed by primary accessory – the hat. No Kentucky Derby outfit would be complete without a heel. But the Kentucky Derby is a long day, with a lot of walking around the vast Churchill Downs, so I opted for a nude wedge to give me height with stability. The only thing left is to pack the cooler! Some water, sunglasses, sunscreen, betting cash, mint julep cash, and a phone to capture all the action – human and equine alike! Stay tuned to our IG account as I will post pictures throughout the weekend of our adventures around Lexington and Louisville!  Equestrianista.com... [Read more]

Barn Day with the perfect Equestrian Sweater

Let's be real for a moment: Equestrian fashion is as much about the look and style as it is about its functionality. Something we simply can't live without during a serious schooling sesh or long horse show weekend. A great fitting sweater is a staple every equestrian must have. And while we love our high-style favorites, sometimes you just want simplicity, and that's ok, too! I have my lived-in favorites that have been worn to the point of vintage status and I'm expecting our newest sweater addition to be added to that list. This spring season, the Equestrianista sweater took on cleaner lines, minimal detailing, and a classic shape. And while we would never suggest ditching your lifelong favorite embroidered Fox Hunt Sweater or the modern Show Crew Sweater, we definitely recommend mixing it up with the new Barn Day Sweater.  We love a staple piece, but is there anything better than a staple piece that's also a favorite piece!? Besides the coziness of 100% cotton against your skin on a breezy ride, the v-neck adds feminine style to this classic look.  Equestrianista always makes the neckline just the right size so you can actually...oh I don't know, actually take your sweatshirt off without having to take your helmet off. How to Clean Moldy Leather Bridles and Saddles

Gah! It is that time of year when we walk into the tack room and pull out tack that has not seen the light of day since those beautiful fall schooling days! Today's post is info every equestrian needs at one point, but dreads having to use.  Bringing moldy leather tack back to life can seem like a daunting barn chore. I mean who really enjoys cleaning their tack after each ride, much less the tack covered in the fuzzy green stuff. Be ready to set aside some time where you don't feel rushed, as well as muster up patience and a lot of elbow grease! Start by pulling all the tack to be cleaned outside or in a well-ventilated area so you can avoid inhaling mold spores and/or releasing them in the air only to land and spread on the already clean tack within your tack room (your barn besties may turn into frienemies otherwise). Start by gathering these tack cleaning tools (many can be found around the house): 2 or 3 old rags to dampen and 2 or 3 dry rags to wipe dry Soft Toothbrush 2 Tack Sponges (or two small natural sponges will due) Leather Cleaner Leather Conditioner   Begin by unfastening any buckles and remove any fittings from your tack. Dampen a rag and wipe away as much surface mold as possible. Once the rag is fully covered in mold throw it away to keep from redepositing it on tack. Begin with a fresh dampened rag to continue or move on to the next step. Dampen the toothbrush and gently massage it into the creases and hard to reach areas of your tack to remove any remaining mold. Rinse the toothbrush periodically to keep from redepositing mold spores onto tack. After you've successfully removed the mold off your tack, it’s time to use leather cleaner. Be sure to keep in mind that many tack manufacturers have specific cleaning instructions for their tack and recommend certain cleaners and conditioners. So we suggest checking your tack maker's website before cleaning. Poor a quarter size amount of your favorite leather cleaner to a tack sponge. My favorite is the Leather Therapy Wash . Thoroughly massage in small circular motions, covering the entire leather area while avoiding any suede or rough-out areas. Gently rub the cleaner into the leather until there’s no residue left over from it. Read the directions of your particular cleaner to know if it requires removal with a damp cloth. Lastly, after you've allowed your tack to fully dry, it's time to condition the leather and restore the moisture removed during cleaning. A good leather conditioner will also help your tack stay soft and supple. A former dressage trainer turned me on to the Passier Lederbalsam. Again check with the manufacturer for their guidelines on how often their pieces should be conditioned. It can really depend too on how often you ride and where you live due to the climate and weather.  Condition by applying a quarter size of conditioner to the second, clean tack sponge. Apply a thin coat of conditioner to all of the leather parts of your tack, paying special attention to cracking areas. If the conditioner disappears immediately, add another thin coat and work it into the leather. But remember that more isn't always better when it comes to your saddle. You can apply too much, which can soak through to your padding or tree and cause them to deteriorate. Now take a moment to sit back, breath in the luscious clean leather smell and gaze at your glistening tack (because you're an equestrian- it won't last long). Make sure your tack is completely dry before you put it away. xoxo Julie See what's new on Equestrianista!... [Read more]
